GU-13 ICE:
We came out flat the first half of the first game and went down 4-1.
Also during the first half, Marissa took a shot to the knee and
couldn't play anymore and Maranda bumped shoulders with a girl
and rebroke the other girls collarbone.

The second half we dug deep and scored 3 to end in a 4-4 tie.

The second game started better but the heat and traveling was
telling in the girls. We got the ball down in their goal box and had
the girls stuff the box, one of the other teams players had the ball
come off her shin guard and went into the goal. A self goal. We held
off several pushes and the game ended with us winning 1-0. Our
goalie Ali, played awesome!

BU-13:
Spokane Breakers 4/12/08 - The guys played a great first half and had tied
the game on a great passing play including Tyler Barndt, Brennan
Crafton, and the score by Conner McLeod. The second half did not go so
well as the Breakers wore us down and ended up beating us handily 6-1.

Grangeville 4/14/08 - Monday evening we played a non-conference game
against Grangeville and ended up tieing 1 - 1. Both teams had many
opportunities to score, but could only put one goal in each. We tried
people at different positions and were pleased to see strong defensive
play from Adam Scrimsher playing sweeper and Giovanni Jimenez playing
stopper. Bradey Jeffreys moved forward to center striker and almost
scored two goals, one bouncing off the post. He also set up Tyler Barndt
who almost scored, but the goalie got a finger tip on it and knocked the
ball just enough to hit the post and out. Tyler was matched against Kenny
(Don't know his last name, but he plays on the B U-14 team for Steve
Thomas as well as Grangeville.) and did an excellent job. Alex Downs
also played an excellent game at left half back supporting Forrest Davis
at left striker. Forrest, as usual, did a great job at left striker, shooting
and crossing the ball from that side.
